Lucile Roberts Hawk, 101, of West Allens Bridge Road, Greeneville, passed away Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Hawk was a school teacher for 16 years.
She was a 75-year member of Greeneville Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She loved to travel and kept her suitcase packed. She never met a stranger and loved children.
The center of her life was her family.
Survivors include two daughters: Joan Hawk of Greeneville and Jerry Allison of Fort Myers, Fla.; three granddaughters: Terri Hofer, Carolyn Hawk, and Kimberly Hawk; four grandsons: Richard Harrell and wife, Sharon, David Harrell, Joe Harrell and wife, Dee, and Ron Harrell; 11 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Mary Nell Crowder of Lawrenceburg and Katherine and James Small of Marion, Va.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her extended family: Dr. John Shaw and family and Janyce Westerman and family.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Kathleen Harned Roberts and was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Arville Hawk; a sister, Judith Johnson; and one brother, Samuel Roberts.
The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Greeneville Seventh-day Adventist Church with interment in Harned's Chapel Cemetery, Parrottsville. Pastor Clarence Small and Pastor Jeremy Arnell will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Richard Harrell, David Harrell, Joe Harrell, Ron Harrell, David Hawk, Daniel Hawk, and Lynn Fillers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Service Center of Greeneville Seventh Day Adventist Church or to Amedisys Hospice.
