Mrs. Lucille Fields Renegar, 82, of 1322 Buffalo Shoals Road., Claremont, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at the Palliative Care Center and Hospice House at Sherrills Ford. She was born in Hoke County, NC on January 19, 1930, and was a daughter of the late W. S. and Sallie Hubbard Fields. She was a former Avon representative. She was preceded in death on March 29, 2012, by her husband, Mr. Howard Stanley Renegar. She was preceded in death by two brothers. She is survived by three step-sons, Claude Renegar and his wife, Wendy, of Claremont, Howard Kelly Renegar and his wife, Janice, of Taylorsville, and Gary Keith Dowdle of Catawba; two brothers, Kenny Fields of Raleigh and Donald Fields of Raleigh; a sister, Sarah Parks of Charleston, SC; and step-grandchildren, Gene Renegar (Mandy), Jonathan Renegar and Jordan Renegar.
Services celebrating Mrs. Renegar's life will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Kautz officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
