Mom:
God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be,
He wrapped you in his loving arms and whispered, “Come to Me.”
You suffered much in silence, your spirit did not bend,
You faced your pain with courage until the very end.
You tried so hard to stay with us, your fight was all in vain,
God took you in His loving arms and freed you from your pain.
You did not deserve what you went through, and so He gave you rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.

My Dearest Aunt Lydia, my Godmother, my friend...
I don't ever remember a time in my life when I didn't know you and love you. For the countless times you took care of me, looked out for me, bandaged my bloodied knees and wiped away my tears, I loved you. For all the times you saved me, you stood up for me, you supported, encouraged and believed in me, I loved you. For the times you made me see the light and righted me when I was wrong, I loved you. For all the birthdays you remembered and the many ways you made me feel special, I loved you. For your ready smile, your grace, your thoughtful ways and the endless kindnesses you showed to me, I loved you. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Now that Our Heavenly Father has come to take you home, may you rest well in peace and in comfort, knowing that you are loved, you are missed and you will always be remembered. Not only by me, but by all those whose lives you have touched in your own special way.
Love Always, Jeanette
