I worked with Lyle at both the Georgia health department and CDC. He was kind, considerate, smart, interesting, conscientious, loving, and technically highly capable. His influence on professional and personal matters for me and others lives on. My thoughts and prayers are with him, his family, and loved ones.

Dear Linda and Lyle's other family members,
I am so sorry to hear about Lyle's passing. He was such a kind and gentle soul. I really enjoyed working with him when we both were in PEB years ago and the friendship that we had during that time and afterwards. My fondest memory was when you both came to my house with your foster son during the holidays. I am eternally grateful for Lyle's kindest when my son passed, especially his comforting words and the donation to Children's Hospital of Atlanta in my son's name. I will try to make it to his memorial service. Much Love and Many Blessings as you recover from his loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Lyles passing, as he was a great coworker and friend. Lyle loved his work he did with CDC. I remember he worked so hard in order to quickly fix a bug in the very complex SAS program. He was so happy after he fixed, and he shared his experience with us how he did. He will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Lyle's passing, as he was a great coworker and friend. Lyle had a passion for the work he did with CDC and he was such a wonderful person, always kind and willing to go above and beyond for his coworkers. Lyle would talk with great affection about Linda and, at our company Christmas party, one of my favorite memories of Lyle is how happy he looked dancing with Linda- he seemed to be the happiest person in the room. He will be missed terribly and much love to Linda and his family for their loss.

I have such fond memories of visiting Lyle and his family in Bloomington, Il. Lyle was always so nice to play with us "little kids" -shuffleboard in the basement. We were fortunate to get to visit by phone at our reunion. God bless all - Lyle will be missed.
