Lynn Welker was born on September 15, 1977 in San Jose, CA. Two years later her mother brought her to the Philippines where she was raised. Her mother brought Lynn and her sister Fe back to the U.S. in 1990. Lynn attended Thomas Russell Middle School in Milpitas, CA and then attended Milpitas High school from 1991-1995. While in high school, Lynn met Eric Welker during her first year of NJROTC, a high school military program developed by the U.S. Navy.
Lynn studied early childhood development at Mission College in Santa Clara, CA, earning an associate degree and teaching credential. She worked at Mission and cared for infants and worked with toddlers. Lynn was passionate about learning and devoted her life to the education of her own children. She also loved to sing, bake, and like her husband was a lover of movies. Lynn's friends often mention how kind she was and that she had a unique smile that inspired happiness. She was a kind and gentle person who showed empathy for other, and she made sure to teach this to her children. She will be greatly missed.
Lynn is survived by her husband Eric Welker, her daughter Jordan, 8, son Noah, 5, and daughter Savannah Angel, newborn. She is also survived by her sister Fe Aguibitin Rangcapan Jarmon, brother-in-law Chris Jarmon, nephew Ivan Jheric Rangcapan, and niece, Camille Jarmon of Manteca, CA; sister Medeline Aguibitin Rangcapan Harkins, brother-in-law Ellis Harkins, niece Clarrizze Leilani Milton, nephew Ellis (Mikko) Xavier Harkins II & grand-nephew Keyo Xavier Kuratsu of Ewa Beach, Hawai; Ricardo Rangcapan with wife Priscilla Rangcapan of San Jose, CA; aunt Teresa Aguibitin Cruz, cousin Kimberly Cruz Tryggestad with husband Thomas Tryggestad and son Koby Tryggestad; brothers-in-law Douglas Welker, Gregory Welker, and Michael Welker, sister-in-law Melanie Jefferies, and many more nieces and nephews.
