Mable Inez Turner Allday – Born August 18, 1925 in Riverton, AL, and a resident of Eight Mile, AL died Wednesday, June 1, 2011, in a local hospital. She was a member of Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church, the Kushla Garden Club, the Southern Belle's Red Hat Society and the Odds and Inns Quilting Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Wright; and son, Francis Lamar Turner. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Alice (Norris) Herrington, Mobile, AL, Elizabeth Yelverton, Eight Mile, AL and Dorothy Ann (Rodney) McIlwain, Semmes, AL; one sister, Mary Ella Solar, LA; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 4, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Graveside services and interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery, Deer Park, AL. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
