TOMS RIVER– MADELINE AHRENS died Monday, November 19, 2012 at Kimball Medical Center, Toms River. She was 79.

Born in Newark, she lived in Toms River for most of her life.

Prior to retiring, she was a clerk at the Ocean County Board of Social Services in Toms River where she worked for 22 years.

Surviving is a son, Richard; a brother Ciro Aragona and his wife Marie; a niece, 4 nephews; 6 great-nephews and a dear friend, Valerie Williams.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM at D'Elia Funeral Home, Route 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood. Interment of cremains will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10-11AM.
