Madeline Hovatter, age 65, of Ozark, Alabama died Sunday morning, April 15, 2012 at Oakview Manor Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am, Thursday, April 19, 2012 in the chapel at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Montana Mines Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Ms. Hovatter was born in Catawba, West Virginia on April 21, 1946 to Jesse and Orpha Hovatter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Samuel O'Brian Harding.
Ms. Hovatter is survived by brothers, Thomas Hovatter of Columbus, Ga., Jesse Hovatter (Florence) of Waterloo, Iowa, Robert Hovatter (Louise) of Waverly, Tn., and Gary Hovatter (Diann) of Ozark, Al; her sisters, Barbara Johnston, Clara Parker, both of Fairmont, West Virginia, and Martha Martin of Buckhannon, West Virginia; also her care giver, Sheila Wenk.
