Cindy, I was so sad to hear about your mother passing. She taught me chemistry in nursing school for a short while and she was tough but she also had a great sense of humor. It was good to see and talk to you at the hospital during one of your mother's stays. I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

In 1975 my husband & I moved to Tuscaloosa from Decatur, AL . About 1 yr. later we bought a house next door to Bo & Susie Daniel. No young couple could have been more blessed with such wonderful next door neighbors. Although our marriage didn't survive, they were still good to both of us when we divorced and moved away. Not many people would have reached out to both of us with kindness ...those are the fond memories I still carry with me. My prayers and love for Bo and their family. Love, Linda Hardwick

Intelligent, fearless, passionate and sometimes outrageous, Mrs. Daniel will forever remain one of the most memorable women to touch my life. She taught me anatomy, physiology, critical thinking and how to take some of the toughest tests I've ever seen. I'll never forget her and strive to pass on some of those valuable lessons. Forever in my heart.

I admired Mrs. Daniel so much. I too was one of her students that gives her the credit for laying a firm knowledge in nusing as my foundation. Most of us were afraid not to learn what she taught but we all respected her and that she was doing it for our own good as well as for our patients. She will be missed and forever in my heart

Dear Cindy, I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot tell you the times I have thought of your mother over the past 35 years. She challenged me, she was tough but she encouraged. She was one of those mentors that you know you owe part of your success too. She was a fantastic teacher and a person to be admired.

A "one of a kind" person; God did break the mold. She was a joy to know, and she was my "shake your hand" Aunt Susie. No hugs, please, but she hugged you with her smile. She will be missed. Love to Bo and all the family.

I worked with Susie at the DCH School of Nursing many years a go. A great nurse who always pushed for the best for the patients.

I taught with Susie for several years at DCH School of Nursing. She was a devoted nurse and nothing but excellence would be accepted. May God sustain her family.

Please accept my sincerest sympathy on the loss of Ms. Madge.
I absolutely loved working with Madge Daniel! She was a tough cookie when she needed to be but her smiles came quickly. She was one of a kind! I'll bet you that everybody in heaven has been instructed to wash their hands more than once! God blessed us with Ms. Madge and a wonderful blessing she was!

I was a student of Mrs Daniel at Druid Cith School of Nursing back around 1967-70.I was so lucky to see her at a reunion just a few years ago. She was an exceptional woman and nurse! She gave us so much as students and I am still using what she taught me 43 years later. She will be missed by many. I hope the family can find peace in their heart.
