Maggie Matilda "Tillie" Gehring Age 94, a longtime resident of the South Everett and North Lynnwood communities passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 4, 2014. Tillie lived in the Everett and Lynnwood communities from 1969 to 1998 before relocating to Merrill Gardens Retirement Community in Mill Creek in 2008. In 2010, Tillie relocated to Education Hill Adult Home in Redmond until the time of her passing. Tillie and her late husband Bill were long time members of the Evergreen Christian Church in Everett, known today as the New Hope Christian Church of Everett. Maggie Matilda "Tillie" Gehring

Age 94, a longtime resident of the South Everett and North Lynnwood communities passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 4, 2014. Tillie lived in the Everett and Lynnwood communities from 1969 to 1998 before relocating to Merrill Gardens Retirement Community in Mill Creek in 2008. In 2010, Tillie relocated to Education Hill Adult Home in Redmond until the time of her passing. Tillie and her late husband Bill were long time members of the Evergreen Christian Church in Everett, known today as the New Hope Christian Church of Everett. She was loved by everyone who knew and met her and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Tillie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Gehring; her daughter, Barbara Baker; and her grandson, Eric Gehring. Tillie is survived by her two sons, Rex and Ken Gehring; her son in law, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Tillie will be laid to rest by her husband's side at East Lawn Palms Cemetery in Tucson, AZ at a later date. Arrangements are being cared for under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Home, www.evergreen-fh.com, in Everett, WA.
