Johnson, Malissa Poole, 93, of Louisville, KY, died in Grand Rapids, MI on July 8, 2014.
Mrs. Johnson worked for the historic Seagram's Distillery for over 40 years, and had an enduring love of children, animals and the outdoors.
She is survived by two grandsons, Jefferson (Jennifer) Mitchell of Ada, MI and Johnathan (Katherine) Mitchell of Grand Rapids, MI, and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves multiple stepchildren, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robey A. Johnson, daughter, Loretta Burd of Gowen, MI, three brothers and three sisters.
A funeral service to honor the life of Malissa will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange, KY on Tuesday, July 15th at 1pm with visitation starting at 11am before the service. Burial will follow at Sligo Cemetery in Sulphur, KY.
