Marcella (Marcie) G. Anderson, 96, after a long and full life, passed September 8, 2016 at St. Catherine's Medical Center, Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Marcella was born May 8, 1920 to the late Antoinette and John Jechorek, in Kenosha, WI. She attended local schools and married "her man" Carl E. Anderson, April 27, 1946 in a joint service at St. Thomas Church with Marcella's sister Victoria Jechorek and Richard (Dick) Carney.
Marcella and Carl celebrated 56 plus years of marriage; Carl preceded Marcella in death in Arizona on February 17, 2003 and has patiently waited for his bride. Marcella joins Carl in Sun City, AZ at Sunland Memorial Park.
Preceding Marcella in death; brother Conrad Jehoreck; sisters, Victoria Carney and Theresa Olson and son in law, Phillip Duke.
Marcella was a great cook and baker. Her hot rolls, bread and homemade ravioli were known to all that loved her. Her wit and good humor made her well liked. She will sorely be missed.
Marcella is survived by daughter, Linda Duke and son, Mark (Jeanne) Anderson. Grandchildren, Raymond Carter, Thomas Carter, Kathleen Alcaraz of California; Eric Anderson, Nicholas Anderson of Kenosha, WI. Not to be forgotten are the many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews in California, Arizona, Texas, Illinois and Wisconsin.
A celebration of Marcella's life will be held at a later date in Kenosha.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff of St. Catherine's Medical Center, Dr. Michelle Gauthier, the Clinic staff and the Drs. on call, for the compassion and support during Marcella's final days. For helping grant Marcella's wish to join Carl in Sun City, AZ, the family thanks Alan and Sue Braun of Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory.
