PIERCE, Marcia A. – after battling Alzheimer's for over 8 years, has passed away at the age of 80, on November 25, 2016 in Romeo, MI. A funeral service will be held on Monday November 28, 2016 at 11 AM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Visitation will also be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 4 PM – 7 PM at Brown Funeral Home. Marcia was born on February 10, 1936 in Flint to the late Gerald and Nina (Campbell) Wallace. She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1953, continuing on to Flint Junior College. In 1969 she earned a BA degree from the University of Michigan – Flint. Marcia proudly worked many years in the accounting departing at Mott Community College. She is survived by her son Stuart and daughter-in-law Debbie, and her three grandchildren; Matt, Kristi, and Ryan; as well as her brother Richard Wallace. She was preceded in death by her daughter Elaine. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org in memory of Marcia.
