To Nancy and the entire family, I extend our sympathy in your loss. The Christiansens were an extended family for my father (the late Stan Jorgensen) while he was growing up in Depression-era Nebraska. He shared fond recollections of his Summers on their farm and the bonds of lifelong friendship established with the entire family during those early years. Mardelle was part of that "great" generation. Cherish the memories of a life well lived.

Dear Nancy and Jane, I had the privilege and pleasure of visiting with Mardelle only twice and of meeting each of you once. I want to express my sincere sympathy to you and your families at Mardelle's passing. I know you will miss her. On the second visit I had with her,on Dec. 9, while Jane was out of the room, Mardelle told me how much she loved and appreciated both of her daughters.
