Margaret "Margie" Berckenhoff, age 86 passed away on Monday January 29, 2018 in Moulton, Texas. Margie was born December 17, 1931 in Hallettsville, Texas to Louis and Julie (Krenek) Satsky.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and KJZT.
Margie is survived by her son Gregory Berckenhoff and wife Annette, brother Dennis Satsky, sisters Patsy Kalmus and Barbara Crisp, granddaughters Sheila Farracci, Shellie Berckenhoff, and Brenda Berckenhoff.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband Otto Berckenhoff; son Donald Berckenhoff and her parents.
Pallbearers are Shelby Henke, Gary Kalmus, Steven Kalmus Jr., Vernon Meazel, Billy Henke, and Mark Pendergrass.
A visitation for Margie will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. A rosary will be recited Friday, February 2, 2018 at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with funeral mass at 10:00am officiated by Father Gabriel Maison. A burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Moulton, Texas.
