Margaret C. Bounds, 79, of Port St Lucie Florida passed away Saturday June 10, 2017 at Treasure Coast Hospice House. She was born in Montrose, West Virginia, moved to Maryland in 1960, and retired to Florida in 2001. Margaret graduated with honors from Prince George's Community College (MD) on December 29, 1975 with an Associates Degree in Arts. She was a registered nurse with licenses in Maryland and Florida. Her career was devoted to geriatrics. She worked at a number of nursing homes in Maryland and Florida and was Director of Nursing at several facilities. Her passions include her family, patients, music, bridge, flowers, bright colors, knitting and crocheting. She was a charter member of the Unity Church of Port St Lucie. Survivors include her husband of 60 years J. Robert Bounds, children Robert E Bounds of Miramar FL, Rachel Fabrizio and husband John of Davenport FL, and Daniel P Bounds of Arnold MD, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A committal service will be conducted at the Leading Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery Montrose WV at a later date in the fall.
