Margaret Malicoat Obituary

Margaret Ella Josie Brown Malicoat, age 87, passed away October 6, 2017, at Scott and White Hospital. She was born October 13, 1929, to Thomas Joseph Brown and Mary Lou McCutcheon in the Armstrong Community.

She was the youngest of four children and was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers. Her husband of 60 years, James Daniel Malicoat, preceded her in death in 2005. Son-in-law Gerald Barnes preceded her in 2010. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Barnes of Carlsbad, NM, and Myra Malicoat of Temple; one son James Don Malicoat and son-in-law Theron Barnes, both of Temple.

She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
