Margaret Smith Cash, 87, of Madison Heights, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at Runk & Pratt Residential Adult Care at Liberty Ridge.
Born March 9, 1930 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late Rex and Minnie Morris Smith
Mrs. Cash was retired from G.E./Ericsson and was a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cash was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Sharon Cash of Dallas, TX, Gayle Cash Bragg and husband Wayne of Charlottesville, and Lynn Phelps of Lynchburg; three brothers, Sammy Smith and wife Phyllis of Rustburg, Glenn Smith and wife Carole of Richmond and Wayne Smith and wife Carolyn of Rustburg; two sisters, Kathleen Jennings and Gaynelle Martin, both of Madison Heights; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Rustburg with Dr. Todd Blake officiating.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Seven Hills Hospice or Madison Heights Baptist Church.
