Margaret Ann Cole Alford, passed away September 14, 2013, after a very long illness. Margaret
is survived by her loving husband of 26 years Robert, her daughters Sharon Estremo(Steve), Machal Cooper, grandchildren Emily and Nolan Estremo, Maranda Cooper, brothers Joe Cole(Anna May), Dan E. Cole( Nancy), sister Marilyn Reese (Tom) , nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father Walter J Cole and Mother Novella Cole.
Margaret was born in Lebanon, Missouri, on January 7, 1935 and the family moved to Republic, Mo in 1942. She was graduated from Republic High School, ultimately coming to Lakewood, CA. She worked in the banking industry, retiring in June 1988 from Wells Fargo in Long Beach, CA.
Robert and Margaret enjoyed their retirement by traveling the United States in their motorhome. She had many wonderful stories, memories and mementos from all of their travels.
Private services will be held at Pacific View Cemetery in Corona Del Mar, CA.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your closest Hospice Organization in memory of Margaret.
