Margaret Amato Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 21, 2012.

Margaret P. Amato, age 78, of Toms River departed Community Medical Center to be with our Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2012. Born in Teaneck, N.J., she resided in Washington Twp. where she started a family before moving to Ocean County in 1973. Margaret was family oriented, devoted mother of four, and worked many years as a home health aide taking care of others. In her limited leisure time she loved to crochet.
She is predeceased by her parents Andrew and Regena Retta, two sisters, Lee and Cathy and her daughter Theresa. Surviving are her former husband Frank; her daughter Elizabeth; and two sons Frank J. and Timothy.
Forever in the hearts of those who knew her as she is laid to rest in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Westwood, N.J. following private cremation services at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River.
