Barbara L. Ealum, 83, of Aurora formerly of Evans, passed away March 23, 2014 at Parker Adventist Hospital. She was born February 6, 1931 in Tilden, Nebraska to Sam and Dorothy James.

Barbara gave her heart to the Lord, as her personal savior in V.B.S. and at the age of 12 or 13 dedicated her life to serve Him always to the best of her ability. This was at Bible Camp Joy Niobrara, Nebraska.

Barbara married Clay Allen Ealum on August 17, 1948 and went as a bride to the first church that Clay pastured. They had four children; Roger, Melody, Jon Mark and Loren. Jon Mark died at birth.

Barbara loved being a pastor's wife and was an accomplished musician, youth leader and piano teacher. After Clay's death she learned to be a Ventriloquist. She felt God calling her to travel and use the gifts God gave her to Ventriloquism, music and speaking and working with children. She enjoyed what she did and enjoyed traveling over many states.

Barbara is survived by her sons Roger Ealum and Loren Clay Ealum; sisters Gloria Laudenklos and Roma Elmore; grandchildren Memory Hogan, Amy Gonzales, Kimberly Ealum, Justin Ealum and Brandon Ealum; great grandchildren Andre, Harmony, Jaden, Brieanna, Andrea, Chris, Caden, Samantha, Austin, and Preston; best friends Pastor Kenneth Hall and Dorothy Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, infant son Jon Mark, daughter Melody Marine Johnson and one great grandson Alex.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 28, at Stoddard Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Estate of Barbara Ealum in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W 28thStreet, Greeley, Colorado 80634.

"Just heard of Barbara's homegoing. She was a tremendous blessing to so many people. She was our pianist in my first pastorate in Johnstown. She was indeed..." Jason Shuttlesworth (Baytown, TX)
