Margaret passed away peacefully on June 28, 2013 at the age of 79. Margaret died peacefully after succumbing to an aneurysm. Born on July 11, 1933 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to Katherine (McDonald) and Charles F. O'Neil, Margaret moved to the Detroit area after meeting her husband, Charles Francis Gesch. They were married on Margaret's birthday, and moved to Westland, Michigan to raise their family, where they lived together until her death. She lived a full life, working at many well-known Detroit landmarks, including Better Made Potato Chips, J.L. Hudson's and most recently, Harry J. Will Funeral Home. Travel, friends, food and family defined this truly one-of-a-kind woman.
She is predeceased by children Mary Kay and Charles, and grandchildren Garrett, Dianne and Patrick. Margaret is survived by husband Charles, daughters Polly and Julie and grandchildren Joseph Dupree, Anthony Dupree, Charly Norton and Nicholas Norton.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 3-9 pm with a Rosary Service (time to be confirmed) at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Avenue in Wayne.
