Margaret L. Mullis, age 83, of Monroe, passed away on February 25, 2015. She was born in Waxhaw on November 1, 1931 to the late William Brady Mullis and Jessie Kettle Mullis. She retired from Johnson Spinning Co., also known as Bassett Walker, and also worked at the Brian Center for 17 years as a dietary aid. Margaret was known for bringing a smile to anyone's face she would meet, she was very supportive in so many ways to her family, had such a sweet personality, absolutely loved her family and loved her Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Junior Mullis, James Mullis, Hazel Mullis and Harvey Mullis and her grandson, Tim Mullis.
Margaret is survived by her son, Eddie Mullis; her grandson, Eddie Van Mullis; two brothers, Leonard Mullis and Frank Mullis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.at McEwen Funeral Home with burial to follow in Waxhaw City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Childrens Hospital.

so sorry to hear about the passing of Margaret, my computer has been down.. I have just gotten back online and saw it on Donna's website..It brought memories back of when Trish and I and the kids would come down and we would all play bingo...She was also so happy to see us and she helped us in so many ways...She was always a blessing to us and never turned us away. I just heard about steven passing away. I have so many good memories of those visits. I know this is a really hard time for you and the family ,please let the rest of the family know that they are in my thoughts and in my prayers also.. Joseph ( HAROLD)Caudle
