Margaret grew up in Sulphur, OK in the dairy farm family of Abe Ross, Sr. and Mary Duke Ross and three siblings. They moved to Denison when she was a teenager. Margaret and her parents were long-time members at First Baptist Church. She worked over forty years at Texas Power & Light in Denison. She was an outgoing, feisty, loyal, and loving friend to so many and generous with her encouraging spirit and legendary cakes. She loved God and family above all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by siblings Lucille Cope and Louis Ross. Survivors include her brother, Abe Ross, Jr and his wife Marjorie of Charlotte, NC, nieces Kelly Ross Knapp and husband Dennis of Charlotte, NC, Kim Ross Kitko and husband Greg of Pittsburgh, PA, Betty Wells of Norman, OK, nephew Kip Ross and wife Christine of Durham, NC, and cousins Barbara Sue Apgar of Ann Arbor, MI and Wallace McMillin of Albuquerque, NM.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for SNAP (Denison Senior Citizen Center, 531 W Chestnut, Denison, TX 75020) where Margaret so enjoyed the exercise programs and entertainment. Special thanks to the Denison Fire Department for their unwavering support and kindness. The family expresses their deepest thanks to Phyllis French, Vivian and Tim Griffith and many other friends, as well as the staff at Stone Brook Memory Care for their loving and dedicated attention to her care.
