Margarete G. Allion
Margarete G. Allion, age 76, of Mint Hill, NC, passed away December 23, 2009 after a short and unexpected illness. Born in September of 1933 in Munich Germany, Margarete is the daughter of Caecilie Zedelmaier and Johann Herrmann.
She leaves to cherish her memory her immediate family members; husband, Bud Allion; son, Michael Allion and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Jessica and Nicolas Allion; and her daughter, Erika Phillips and husband, Bill. She is also survived by her sister, Inge Miller. Margarete's absence is also keenly felt by a host of extended family member, friends and neighbors.
We will all miss her desire to make the word a better place, her ability to find humor in every situation and the love she showed everyone who knew her. She is now our Christmas angel and can keep watch over us all.
Special thanks goes to all her doctors and staff that provided such incredible care and compassion to her these last two months. While the outcome was not what we all hoped, their support and skill gave us courage and hope for the future.
