BROWN, Margie Christine, 87, of Louisville, entered into rest on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was a homemaker, but also volunteered with the DAV Okolona 116 and Missionary Girls with Beechland Baptist Church and was a poll worker. Mrs. Brown was member of the OES, Shively chapter.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Raelene Brown and two great-granddaughters, Linda and Melinda Baxter.
Mrs. Brown is survived by a daughter, Priscilla Murphy; a granddaughter, Mayanna McCoy; a great-grandson, Andy Baxter; two sisters, Irene Dedrich and Louise Russell and a brother, Omer McWhorter.
Her funeral service will be on Wednesday at 12:30pm at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2pm until 8pm.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the DAV.
