Marguerite "Peggy" McGrath, 78, wife of Dennis A McGrath of Old Saybrook CT, passed away November 29, 2016 at Yale NH Hospital after a brief battle with cancer with her family by her side. Marguerite was born on February 22, 1938, in West Virginia to the late Bernard and Wilma (Baker) Clark. She was employed by Pratt & Whitney of Middletown CT as a welder. Marguerite and Dennis made their home in the community of Old Saybrook where she made many friends whom surely will miss her. Beside her husband, she leaves behind her sister Beverly Davis of West Virginia and was predeceased by her grandson Sean C Dent formerly of Old Saybrook. Swan Funeral Home 1224 Boston Post Rd Old Saybrook CT 06475 are handling the arrangements for the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society 825 Brook St Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
