Marguerite Allard Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 31, 2011.

.It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marguerite on December 29th,2011. Marguerite Lewis (née Allard) wife of the late Richard Lewis and Lucien Proulx will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Diane (Ted), granddaughters Caroline and Robin, brother Réné, sisters Eliza and Léa and numerous nephews and nieces. Her joy of life was her family and friends. She was a leader in the Boy Scout Organization for many years, worked passionately for the seniors of Pointe Claire. She was responsible for establishing the "Aid for Seniors" program. Marguerite received the Governor General's Caring Canadian Award and the Lions for Outstanding Community Service.
A private service and celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Aid for Seniors, Christian Action, Canadian War Amps or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
