Maria Maxima Butler, a resident of Old Mill Drive in Deltona FL, died peacefully at Halifax Hospice Care Facility on March 12th, 3 weeks short of her 87th birthday. She joins her husband of 47 years, Keith and numerous friends who went before her. Maria lived in Jamaica from age 8 until she immigrated to the United States.
A great cook, baker and gardener; Maria also enjoyed her church family and remained active until recently. Mrs. Butler is survived by daughter, Maxima Gallimore, step daughter, Claudette Dawes, granddaughters, Meisha and Chawna, two great grandchildren and countless friends.
Services will be held Friday, March 17, 2017. Viewing will be from 12-1 pm. Funeral services at 1 pm at Deltona Presbyterian Church, Reverend J. McLaurin, 2300 Howland Blvd Deltona, FL 32738. Committal at Deltona Memorial Gardens, following service.
