In the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a Beloved Wife, Mother Grandmother, Maria Esther Valdez, 67. Surrounded by her loving family and at her bedside Mrs Valdez passed away Tuesday March 13, 2012 at the Home Hospice House. She was born August 14, 1944 in Clint, Texas to Lorenzo and Elauteria Alvidrez Rivera. She united in marriage to Esequiel Valdez April, 24, 1966 in Fabens, Texas. She was a Roman Catholic Christian and a Homemaker. She is preceded in death by Parents: Lorenzo and Elauteria Alvidrez Rivera, Sister: Virginia Rivera, Brothers: Salvador, Jose Rey Del Sol, Nicolas, Frank, and Manuel Rivera....

She is preceded in death by Parents: Lorenzo and Elauteria Alvidrez Rivera, Sister: Virginia Rivera, Brothers: Salvador, Jose Rey Del Sol, Nicolas, Frank, and Manuel Rivera. She Lived Life Serving Others as Christ Taught Us. She was a Member of The Legion of Mary, also volunteering in Prison and Jail Ministry, Extra Ordinary Minister of The Eucharist, and R.C.I.A Sponsor. She is survived by her loving husband Esequiel "Zeke" Valdez of Odessa, Sons: Esequiel Valdez Jr. and ( Rebecca ) of Round Rock, Texas, Joe David Valdez of Odessa; Ricardo Valdez and (Sylina) of Leander, Texas Daughter: Letty V. Nuñez and (Louis) of Odessa, Brothers; Refugio Rivera (Juanita) of El Paso, Lorenzo Rivera (Alicia) of California, Sister: Josefina Navarrette of Clint, Juanita Rivera and Tencha Hernandez and (Ray) all from El Paso, Texas. 6 Grandchildren and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends. We the Valdez Family would like to take this time and thank each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. May God Bless You All Abundantly. Pallbearers will be her Sons; Son-In-Law: Louis Nuñez, Brother-In-Law: Mike Tapia and Nephew: Gabriel Rodriguez Jr. A Rosary was recited at 7PM Thursday March 15, 2012 at Odessa Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 2PM Today Friday March 16, 2012 at St. Joseph`s Catholic Church with Reverend: Joseph Uecker officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Los Angeles Section. Services by Odessa Funeral Home.
