Marian Mandina, 83, Kansas City, passed away May 17, 2017. Visitation is Tuesday, May 23 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City. Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday, May 24 at 10:00 AM at St Andrew the Apostle Catholic church, 6415 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone. Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery.
Marian was born Feb. 23, 1934 in Kansas City, MO to Mariano and Lucinda Mendolia. A life-long Northlander, she graduated from Liberty High School, then worked as a professional dress shop manager at Antioch Shopping Center for 30 years. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who was an avid reader, wonderful seamstress, fantastic cook and loved playing bingo.
Marian is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frank Mandina, Sr; her children Frank Mandina, Jr, Marie Farris and Kathy Fleming; six grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. She was loved by nieces, nephews and friends and left a distinct impression on everyone she met.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Crossroads Hospice in memory of Marian. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.mcgilleyantiochchapel.com as arrangements are under the direction of McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion, 816-453-7700
