Obituary

Marianna Dawson, age 61, of Albion, lL passed into Eternity on Thursday, August 25,2O11 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, lL. Marianna was born on August 13, 1950 in Mound City, lL to Verna (Smith) and Regis Detruf. She was an active member of the Free Methodist Church in Albion; serving on the Pastors' Cabinet, and volunteering with the Angel Food Ministry. Marianna loved her family dearly; her daughters, granddaughters and "great-grand" Aidan. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother-in-law; Ray Harmon and step-father; Clarence "Bud" Woods. Marianna Dawson, age 61, of Albion, lL passed into Eternity on Thursday, August 25,2O11 at
Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, lL.

Marianna was born on August 13, 1950 in Mound City, lL to Verna (Smith) and Regis Detruf.

She was an active member of the Free Methodist Church in Albion; serving on the Pastors'
Cabinet, and volunteering with the Angel Food Ministry. Marianna loved her family dearly; her
daughters, granddaughters and "great-grand" Aidan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother-in-law; Ray Harmon and step-father;
Clarence "Bud" Woods.

She is survived by two daughters: Colleen and Sabra Dawson, two granddaughters: Dionna
and Brianna, great grandson: Aidan, all of Albion, two sisters: Verna Harmon, Olney , lL and
Regina (Larry) Beckerman, Allendale, lL, and one brother: Larry (Sandy) Detruf, Monroe,
MI. Marianna is also survived by several nieces, nephews and former husband, Jesse
Dawson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, August 29,2O11 at Noon, at lngram
Funeral Home, Albion, lL.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM to Noon on Monday, August 29,2011.

Burial will follow at the Graceland Cemetery, Albion, lL.
