Mariano was a devoted father, brother, and PoPo. He has left us, but will never be forgotten, for we will carry him forever in our hearts. Mariano preceded his wife Margaret Morales. Born in Smelter Town, Texas, July 26, 1931, he was 83. He is survived by 3 Daughters and 1 Son; Gloria Smith, Debbie Hunter and Husband Thomas, and Son Richard Morales and wife Kathy, Joyce Morales. He had 5 grandchildren, Brian Smith and wife Jennifer, Chasity Morales and fiancé Michael, Jason Smith, Aaron Hunter, Yvette and Tisha Hunter. 6 Great grandchildren, Juliana Smith, Mason Smith, Aaliyah Hunter, Riley Smith, Aiden Hunter, Aaron Hunter Jr.. Manuel and wife Patricia, and Pedro and wife Chole' of California.

The Viewing will be September 1, from 5:00 to 9:00 at Martin Funeral Home, 3839 Montana, the Rosary will follow at 7:30. Church services will be September 2, 2014 at 9:30, at Blessed Sacrament Parish located at 9025 Diana Drive. Interment will be at Fort Bliss Cemetery following the mass.
