Marie Callahan Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 29, 2017.

In loving memory of Marie Ann Callahan.

Marie Ann Callahan passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017. She was born on January 18, 1953 and lived a beautiful life! She married Patrick Callahan - the love of her life - at the age of 19. They shared the burden of each other's sorrows and fed the happiness of each other's joy for 44 years.

Mrs. Callahan is survived by three daughters, Katherine Marie Callahan, Kelly Lynn Martin and Kerry Laura Warner; two sisters, Katherine O'Conner and Diane Reisen; brothers, Paul Bettez and Bob Bettez; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Steven Michael Callahan, Christopher Lee Callahan and Patrick Callahan; and one sister, Janet Lott.

Marie was a strong, sure-minded woman, who taught her children and grandchildren right from wrong, and was always there when her family needed her. She instilled her tremendous love for God into her family, and led them to follow and place their faith and trust in Him.

Marie was an amazing cook, and loved nourishing her family with huge feasts, just as she did with God's Word.

Marie will be missed immensely, but never forgotten, as she remains in the hearts and souls of her family and friends. We mourn her passing, but are rejoicing with Marie as she dances in Heaven for eternity.

Memorial service will be held at:
Liberty Worship Center
405 1st Ave SW
Largo, FL 33770
