Marie Jewel Robinson was born on November 15th, 1929, to Homer Calvin Clealand and Cora Mae Ware in Henrietta, Oklahoma. She passed away on May 11th, 2017. After marrying Don Robinson, they lived in Modesto California where she worked as a Psychiatric Technical Supervisor for many years before moving to Napa, California where she retired. Eleven years ago she decided to make Oak Harbor her home. In her spare time she loved to fish, camp at Lake Wickiup, crochet, create wood crafts, do crosswords, read and garden. She was also a member of the Women's International Bowling Congress and bowled many leagues in Napa, California.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer Clealand and Cora Mae Ware; her husband Donald Robinson; and a son, Mike Robinson of Modesto, CA. She is survived by her children, Dennis Robinson of Napa, CA; Daughter in-law Pamela Robinson of Napa, and Al Robinson of Oak Harbor; Daughter in-law Pam Robinson of Oak Harbor; as well as six grand-children, eleven great-grandchildren (and another on the way), and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the employees of Whidbey Health Hospice as well as the employees of Summer Hill nursing facility for their great love and care of Marie. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, to please donate a live rose bush to The Robinsons Funny Farm for a garden memorial.
