Marie Lindemann Bush, 90, of DuBois, died Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital. Mrs. Bush was born on May 14, 1921 in DuBois, a daughter of the late John R. and Emma E. Hartzfeld Lindemann. She was a 1939 graduate of Sandy Township High school and a 1943 graduate of Clearfield School of Nursing. She was employed with DuBois Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Maternity Ward for 40 years and retired in 1985. Mrs. Bush was a faithful member of the St. John's Lutheran Church- Oklahoma and a life member of the Pennsylvania State Grange #808. She was also a member of AARP and enjoyed going to the DuBois...

Mrs. Bush was born on May 14, 1921 in DuBois, a daughter of the late John R. and Emma E. Hartzfeld Lindemann. She was a 1939 graduate of Sandy Township High school and a 1943 graduate of Clearfield School of Nursing. She was employed with DuBois Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Maternity Ward for 40 years and retired in 1985.

Mrs. Bush was a faithful member of the St. John's Lutheran Church- Oklahoma and a life member of the Pennsylvania State Grange #808. She was also a member of AARP and enjoyed going to the DuBois Senior & Community Center.

Mrs. Bush was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Richard W. Bush, whom she married on July 13, 1943 and passed away on September 23, 2001, and a brother, Lewis Lindemann.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel with her pastor, Reverend J. Chris Ramsey officiating.

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4:00pm and 7 to 9:00pm. An additional viewing will be on Tuesday from 10:00am until the hour of service.

Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
