Please know that you both are in our prayers at the passing of Ms. Marie, a very gracious and elegant lady who lived a long and exceptionally good life! Gwen and I definitely have a sense of your loss, we also know there are no words or expressions that can truly alleviate the pain you both feel at this time. But we firmly believe that through God's grace and mercy you will come to a point of being able to fully understand why the Lord called her home this morning; the Lord is not slack and will give you the strength to bear the burden of your loss by replacing it with fantastic memories of her physical presence with an inner spirit that transcends and fills that void. Treasure those golden memories when you feel saddened and think about all the times she brought smiles to your faces; she is only sleeping waiting the return of Jesus and you will see her again!
Let us know if there is anything we can do to help!
All Our Love,
Bill & Gwen

To Mark, Susie, Barb, & Amy -- the luckiest kids I've ever known! I had the privilege of meeting the Palmer Family when I became Howard's secretary. I was in awe of all of them. Marie and Howard are part of that 'greatest generation' and we should never forget the quality of their character, sense of humor, intellect, and devotion to family. Sincere condolences to the entire Palmer Family!

Marie Palmer passed away last night. She was 93 years old. She was a beautiful woman. A kind and good mother, a faithful wife, a knowledgeable librarian, and expert and discrete police record keeper, a world traveler, a loving grand mother, an expert jumble and crossword player, a warm friend, a patient and generous mother in law and possessor of a hole in one on the golf course. She was special and the world is colder without her....May she rest in peace.
