Aunt Marie,

I will always remember the wonderful times we shared laughing together over the numerous seafood boils and card games at Grandpa and Grandma's. I cherish all of those summers spent with all of my Durapau family.

While, I am sad that you are gone, I am happy you are free from suffering here on earth. You can now be with all of our loved ones who also left to soon. Please hug them all for me and tell Mom how much I miss her. Oh, and if Heaven has a screen door, You know what Grandpa would say...."Don't let that door slam!"

To all of the family,

We are thinking of you all in this incredibly difficult time. Peace, Blessings and love to all of you.

Mawmaw, I love you with all my heart. You can be with Pawpaw and the rest of your family again. God has taken you under his wing to make you happy. You're now at peace with the ones that love you. I'm glad you visited me by spirit. I know that you are an angel now that was sent down to watch us all. All the things that you looked forward to, you can see it from heaven. I cry because I miss you but I'm happy that the suffering that you had to struggle with is finally done. May you rest in peace Mawmaw.

In loving memories to my mom, Marie Parks, I love you and will miss you always. I know in my heart you and daddy are holding hands together again. Now y'all can be in everlasting life together as god wanted. I'm sad you're gone but I'm glad you don't have to struggle living in the bed confined to one room. Don't worry, we're also celebrating the good memories of our lives with you. Never forgotten always in my heart. May you rest in peace.

My Dearest Momma,
You're hardly gone from us and we miss you so much already. I have the same empty feeling in my heart as I had when Daddy passed on. Yet at the same time I feel a gentle relief, now that you're no longer hurting and confined to your bed. Sadness is replaced by happiness knowing that the two of you are reunited and are sharing the glorious light of Jesus, together with all of our loved ones that have already entered God's kingdom.

So I'm comforted by my faith which you so strongly taught us. Thank you for all of the sacrifices, love and caring you gave us. I'm so proud to have been your son. You did a wonderful job and now it's your time to rest and enjoy your promised reward.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers always and I know you'll be watching over us.

Your loving son,
Pookie
