Marilyn Ann Andrewicz (nee Hendrikse), age 83, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 7, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was born on July 11, 1930 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to the late Peter and Dena Hendrikse.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John; her infant sister, Barbara Hendrikse; her sister, Jean Traas; her brothers-in-law, Joe Traas, Jim Welsch, Eugene Maxey, Michael Andrewicz, Roman Richter and Gilbert Richter; and her sister-in-law, Violet Schwartz.
Marilyn is survived by her two daughters, Mary Lou (Wayne) Muhs, of Downers Grove, Illinois, and Suzette (Jerome) Warmus, of Wausau, Wisconsin. Other surviving relatives include her siblings, Ray (Ruth) Hendrikse, William (Phyllis) Hendrikse, Diane (Lowell) Huenink, Arlene Maxey and Carol (Roger) Woehlke; and her brother-in-law, Joseph Andrewicz.
A lifelong resident of Sheboygan, Marilyn was a member of First Christian Reformed Church for over 80 years and counted as one of her fondest memories serving as "coffee break grandmother" to many of the congregation's youngest members. Marilyn also cherished the countless hours she spent peeling apples for Sheboygan Christian School's Apple Pie Fundraiser each year.
In her final years, Marilyn's greatest joy was visiting with her dear friends and extensive family, including her seven grandchildren: Chris (Judy) Van Lonkhuyzen, of Homer Glen, Illinois; Tyler (Courtney) Van Lonkhuyzen, of Chicago, Illinois; Spencer (Becky) Van Lonkhuyzen, of St. Louis, Missouri; Andrew (Erin) Warmus, of Winnetka, Illinois; Scott (Erica) Warmus, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; John (Betsy) Warmus, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; and Dena (Joe) Horvath, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Of course, her greatest pride and source of constant amusement were her eleven (soon-to-be twelve) great-grandchildren.
Marilyn's family is especially grateful to Catherine "Cat" Van Erem, who provided Marilyn with remarkable care and support for the past five years. Additionally, the family would like to thank the caring staff of Terrace Estates and St. Nicholas Hospice for their compassion during Marilyn's final days.
Donations may be made in Marilyn's name to Sheboygan Christian School.

"So sorry to see the notice about Marilyn passing away I can remember her and mom (Louise Herr) always chatting on the phone, its was Girl Gab Time!!! Your..." Juli (Herr) Schreurs (Cedar Grove, WI)
