Marilyn May Weisz Deily, 89, passed away on September26, 2013. Marilyn was born on May 21, 1924 to Earl and Merle (Fitzcharles) Weisz in Edgerton, Ohio, and had one sister, Margaret. Marilyn had many fond memories of growing up on a farm in beautiful northwest Ohio, surrounded by many relatives. After graduating from High School in 1942, she worked three years at General Electric in Fort Wayne for the war effort. She then went to Bowling Green State University, graduating in 1949 with a degree in Public School Music and taught in Wauseon. She was extremely gifted on the piano and blessed with a beautiful singing voice. She married...
Marilyn May Weisz Deily, 89, passed away on September26, 2013. Marilyn was born on May 21, 1924 to Earl and Merle (Fitzcharles) Weisz in Edgerton, Ohio, and had one sister, Margaret. Marilyn had many fond memories of growing up on a farm in beautiful northwest Ohio, surrounded by many relatives.
After graduating from High School in 1942, she worked three years at General Electric in Fort Wayne for the war effort. She then went to Bowling Green State University, graduating in 1949 with a degree in Public School Music and taught in Wauseon. She was extremely gifted on the piano and blessed with a beautiful singing voice. She married Kenton Deily in 1951 and they had 7 children. She was a member of Grace Family Fellowship and played piano for services many , many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kent; and sister, Margaret. She is survived by her children, Linda (Charles) Holladay, JoEllen (Larry) Mavis, Greg Deily, Karen (David) Lintz, Wendy Karcher, Jeff Deily, and Connie (Randy) Roberts; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held in Napoleon on Sunday, September 29th. A Memorial Service will be held 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 5 at Freedom Point Church, 9300 Maumee-Western Rd., Monclova, Ohio. Heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful care of Gentiva Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon, OH.
