Passed away peacefully on October 12, 2012 at Cottage Hospice, Vancouver. He will be fondly remembered for his smile, energy and pluck by family, friends, colleagues and the Portuguese Community.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 1:30pm at the Unitarian Church of Vancouver, 949 West 49th Avenue, Vancouver, BC ,V5Z 2T1. The service will be conducted by Sherry King, Lay Chaplain, after which there will be a reception at the church. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations are made to the St. James Hospice or the BC Cancer Society in his honour.
