MARION L. DEBOLT, 81, of Fort Wayne passed away April 20th, 2014. He was born July 25, 1932; the son of Homer and Clara (Linn) DeBolt. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a graduate of International Business College. After working in a C.P.A. firm in Fort Wayne he became associated with Adams Lumber Company, Decatur and then, in partnership with Clarence and Larry Bultemeier, formed "All American Homes." He served in various capacities there until his retirement in 1999. He received the "Sagamore of the Wabash" award upon his retiring signed by then Governor O'Bannon. MARION L. DEBOLT, 81, of Fort Wayne passed away April 20th, 2014. He was born July 25, 1932; the son of Homer and Clara (Linn) DeBolt. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a graduate of International Business College. After working in a C.P.A. firm in Fort Wayne he became associated with Adams Lumber Company, Decatur and then, in partnership with Clarence and Larry Bultemeier, formed "All American Homes." Marion was a member of Risen Savior Lutheran Church. On September 15, 1951 he married Miriam Weaver and she survives with 3 sons: Joseph (Gina) Algonquin, IL, Robert (Brenda) Manchester, MO, and Philip (Lois) Fort Wayne. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren: Justin (Kristie), Lindsay (Steven) Sparks, Matthew (Taren), Michelle (William) Bostain, Ryan, Marc, and 3 great-grandchildren. One brother Floyd (Marcella) Bluffton also survives. He was preceded in death by a brother Gerald and a baby sister Esther. The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 26th at 10:00 AM at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 8010 W. Jefferson Blvd. There will be no public viewing but the family will receive callers at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Rd. from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, April 25th and 1 hour prior to the funeral at the church on Saturday. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens. Remembrances, in lieu of flowers in accordance with the family's wishes, may be given to Risen Savior Lutheran Church.
