Marion your frank honesty, wise council and infectious humor inspired a great many. The few brief years I had the pleasure of your acquaintance at Tinker AFB made a lasting impression. Two ears one Mouth I get it… God Bless you friend.

Marion, You were such a great neighbor when you lived in Tulsa. You thrilled Sean and Shannon with rides in your BMW Z3 - top down of course! They loved coming over to see the cool train setup on your patio. Your grandson Jerry inspired my hockey player Sean to have a lifetime love for the sport. After we moved to Houston you really surprised us all when you showed up for one of Sean's tournaments in Tulsa. But we really shouldn't have been surprised. You were that kind of guy - always thinking of others. We are so lucky to have known you.

I am remembering now in the late 80's early 90's, times I would have Communication equipment to be made active and Marion would give his signature for work to completed. I always saw him as a well "Respected", fair supervisor, but real expectations of a good job. Lots of humor. Joy to talk with. Straight shooter if you will. After his retirement, still being able to see and talk with him at our Western/Technologies/ Lucent Breakfast. I thank God for Marion Horacek and being my good friend.
