Marion Keables Hugos age 93, of St. Clair Shores, MI died December 17, 2013, at St. Johns Hospital. She was born in Little Falls, NY on August 23, 1920, the daughter of Austin and Geneva (Coggins) Keables. While growing up she lived in Lowell, MA, Saco, ME, Beacon, NY, and Catskill, NY. Graduated from New York State College for Teachers at Albany, NY, taught school in Jeffersonville, NY. Was a physicist at Ansco in Binghamton, NY. She Married Henry J. Hugos, a chemist at Ansco, on June 25, 1949, and they lived in Conklin, NY, Oakland, CA, Binghamton, NY, Lewiston, NY, S. Euclid, OH, and since 1964, St. Clair Shores. She has been active in the League of Women Voters, the Association for Retarded Citizens and Parents Who Care. Historical Society of St. Clair Shores. Family Geneology. She is predeceased by her husband and survived by her children Helen and Andrew.

To Helen and Andy, my most sincere condolences. I knew Marion for many years, first in the League of Women Voters and then at the Macomb County Genealogy Group that met in Mount Clemens. We worked on many projects together. We were cousins who shared ancestors in Rhode Island. Her service to her community will be missed. Best wishes to you both. Betty Lou Morris
