We announce the passing of our mom at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Beloved wife of the late Donald (April 2003). Mother of Dawna Williams (Bill), Lynn Band (Martin) and Guy. Grandmother of Amy Neil (Pat) and Katye Pearson (Jeremy). Great-grandmother of Charleigh and Hunter Neil and Ellie Pearson. Mom loved the Blue Jays, Winners and Judge Judy. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses on 8G. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, August 4th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers mom would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

So sorry to hear that Marion has passed on. I have fond memories growing up as neighbours with the family. We had our own neighbourhood watch and thanks to Marion's quick action saved my younger brother from being hit by a car.On behalf of the Askew family, you have our deepest sympathy.
