Marjorie Angel Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 8, 2013.

Marjorie Ann Angel went home on February 6th at the age of 84.
She was raised in New Philadelphia, Ohio to Helen and Victor Angel.
She was a registered nurse for many years and retired from Akron
General Medical Center. Marjorie was married to the late Salvatore
Vitone.
She is survived by her children Marc, Joseph, David, Rebecca and John.
Grandchildren Amie, Katy, Gretchen, Dylan and great grandchildren Sophia
and Ruby.
Mummy or Dub as her granddaughters fondly nicknamed her (rub-dub dub
Three men in a tub, which she sang to them at bath time), will be greatly missed but always
in our hearts.
She was the ultimate alpha female smart, incredibly strong, funny, compassionate, and
generous. Always supportive, the ultimate comforter.

FUNERAL HOME 3653 W. Market Street where the family will receive friends 11am until
time of services. Online tributes and condolences may be viewed and expressed at

To the family and friends of Marge Angel... I know that I am not about to tell you something about Marge that you didn't already know, but she really was my angel. In 1974, I was involved in an on-duty accident as a young police officer, which necessitated spinal surgery. Lucky me, I drew AGMC and Marge as my nurse. To make a long story short, I contracted pneumonia and I almost died... but God put Marge there for me. She was the only one who ever told me the truth and urged me to fight. Marge is not gone, she's only been called home to get her next assignment. I know she'll be back, because she earned her wings 39 years ago with me. I'll keep my eye on the lookout for her down in Arizona.

My condolences to the Angel family, take comfort in these words found at Acts 20:35 There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving. Sounds like Marjorie took pride in serving others nowadays that quality is rare may your fond memories not only be filled with joy and laughter but also knowing that her work to please others did not go un-noticed
