Marjorie Inez Hartmann, age 93, of Canton, died Saturday, July 26, 2014. She was born in Middlebranch, Ohio on April 25, 1921 to the late Russell and Helen (Cashner) Gerber.
She was a graduate of Middlebranch High School and Malone College, and was a school teacher until her retirement. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, North Canton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hartmann in 2003; sister, Mariam Morrow; and brother, Lowell Gerber. She is survived by her sons, Bruce Hartmann of Canton, and Brooks Hartmann of Waxhaw, North Carolina; grandchildren, Amity Hartmann and Brett Hartmann; three great grandchildren; and brothers, Lincoln Gerber and Jeremy Gerber.
A private graveside service is planned with interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society. Arrangements under the direction of Karlo-Libby Funeral Home.

Bruce, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I remember her always planting flowers and working in the yard or garden and taking her daily walks. She always had time to stop and say hello. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
