MARJORIE ANN "MARGE" LIVENGOOD, 89, went with the peace of Christ to her eternal reward on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Like her husband, Donald, who preceded her in death in January of 2014, she was a woman of faith in Jesus Christ. Born March 29, 1925, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of John Ervin and Hazel Pressler. Marge married her South Side High School sweetheart, World War II Army Air Corps veteran Donald J. Livengood on May 24, 1946. MARJORIE ANN "MARGE" LIVENGOOD, 89, went with the peace of Christ to her eternal reward on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Like her husband, Donald, who preceded her in death in January of 2014, she was a woman of faith in Jesus Christ. Born March 29, 1925, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of John Ervin and Hazel Pressler. Marge married her South Side High School sweetheart, World War II Army Air Corps veteran Donald J. Livengood on May 24, 1946. Throughout life, Marge was an ardent supporter and faithful companion to her husband of 67 years with whom she raised three sons, welcomed three daughters-in-law to her family, and lovingly embraced eight grandchildren with care, nurturing, support, and enthusiasm. Marge is known to her family and friends as a woman with great dedication to her husband, family, and extended family. She was an active member of First Missionary Church. Marge is survived by her three children, Dr. James (Kathryn) Livengood of Zionsville, Ind., Reverend Gary (Carol) Livengood of New Haven and Greg (Ann) Livengood of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by her sister and friend for life, Bernadine Guebard of Fort Wayne. Marge had eight grandchildren, Jyri and Tatyana Livengood, both of Zionsville, Christopher and Joel Livengood, both of New Haven, Sara and Shannon Livengood, both of Fort Wayne, Amy Weir of Albuquerque, N.M., and Lisa Rigg of Torrance, Calif.; and two great-grandchildren, Audrey and Parker Weir. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. www.klaehnfahl meltonfunerals.com
