On February 6, 1943, she married Robert R. Roenfeldt in Davenport. He preceded her in death in February 1980. Mr. and Mrs. Roenfeldt owned and operated a number of businesses throughout the years: Roenfeldt Foods, 3rd Street Laundry, Rockingham Laundry, Rockingham Car Wash, Conoco Gas Station and Northgate Laundry.
Mrs. Roenfeldt had been honored in Who's Who of American Women.
Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Jim Callison and Susan Schwager; grandchildren, Sally Osborn, Michael (Tammy) Langan, Jenny (Julio) Padilla and John Schwager; great grandchildren, Joshua Osborn, Dominic Padilla and Kaitlyn Padilla; a brother, Bill Haigh, and a good friend, Joan Erickson.
