Mark Chamberlain, age 73, of Cable, WI passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Waters Edge Care Facility in Hayward, WI.
Mark Fredrick Chamberlain was born December 7, 1938 in Brockton, MA the son of George and Ardelle (Holmes) Chamberlain. He graduated from Wauwatosa High School in 1956 and the joined the US Navy on July 30, 1957. Mark served his country until July 17, 1959 when he was honorably discharged. He moved to Milwaukee, WI where he worked for Inland Steel. Mark moved to Drummond, WI where he co-owned and operated Buckhon Lodge. He later went to work for Andry Rasmussen and Sons Heating in Cable. Mark served as a town constable for Cable and was a Special Deputy Warden for the State. He was a member of the American Legion, Cable Gun Club and Ruffed Grouse Society. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mark is survived by his two children, Carrie Goodman of West Allis, WI, Scott Chamberlain of LaCrescent, MN; one step brother, George Chaimberlain Jr. of Jeffersonville, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A military honors service will be held for Mark at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4th, at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.

So surprised to learn that Mark had passed away two weeks ago. His mother, Ardelle, was my mother, Isabelle's, sister. Mark used to stay with us when on leave in the Navy when his ship a Destroyer Escort, pulled into Newport, RI. I always enjoyed his company, his conversation, and his smile. He will be missed.
